im a little confused on how the events work here? from the videos ive seen everyone drives by themselves? how does this work? how many laps(or time??)/heats do you get? sorry if it sounds dumb but im use to 10-15 cars for 4-6 15 minute heats in 4-5 classes.

We can't run more than one car out on track at a time. It's an insurance thing since we drifting is still new in this area. Last year we had two tracks set up which meant that two cars could run, one on each track. For our first event we will only have one track setup, so therefore only one car at a time. These will be timed runs. I don't recall the exact time yet, but this years track layout is sure to please!

What happens in the event of inclement weather? Anyone know how picky heartland is? Right now theres a 60% of showers.

its kansas you never know how the weather will be. even in rain that would make the event pretty fun. less tire wear.

Just a suggestion, since Pre-registration is looking unlikely- Why doesn't whoever is running pre-registration, just take names through pm and then when we show up we just get a discounted rate. OR if pre-registration is a bust this event, everyone gets in for $60 no matter what. Just a thought. Then it would take stress off the guys running it and stress off people wanting to save some coin.

there is a number you can call on hpt.com to see if they cancel it, i just got done with a track day and the let us run on a really wet track. SO MUCH FUN.

Yeah, I have the form ready for fax, but when you try and check out it says a "Secure Network Connection Failure." You can get around it by allowing an un-secure connection, but I'm not putting my card # out there w/o a secure connection.

dang! i wish i would of know about this earlier! i just moved into town about 3 months ago. ill be coming to the September 25th event and sliding. where can i pre register again?

btw you guys all seem pretty cool let me know if there are any just basic car meets/drift meets before the 25th event. id like to meet some of you guys before the event so i dont seem like such a newb. haha
