I'm curious as to who all has helmets and what not necessary for these? I wonder if it would a cool idea for us all to start up a group buy or something on them? I know I personally don't have one and have been stressing on it. I'd much rather have my own then share one with someone else who more than likely doesn't want to lend it out to twenty five people. Ideas?

Here's a cheap helmet. http://www.leatherup.com/p/THH-Helmets/ ... 49573.html

As for all the specs just read the post. If you have any trouble its under the section labeled "What helmet is required to enter?"

Registration opens at 4:30. We will be out there by 3:00. So you can come early and meet up with us and that will give you some time to swap parts if you need to. You don't have to be there by 3:00. Just make sure your car is through tech by 5:45. That's when the driver's meeting starts.

-Snell Memorial Foundation – SA2000 , SA2005
-SFI Foundation – Spec 31.2, Spec 31.2A
-British Helmet Standard – BS 6658:1958

Just to confirm before I drive up there....

a Helmet with a M2000 Snell rating, and legal for SCCA autocross on Heartland Park's skidpad, will NOT be allowed for these drift events?

If this is true, you might want to update your intial post to clear up this issue. M2000 is not inferior to SA200, just certified to different set of tests.
